I spoke with a Greener Homes Coach, and she helped me understand what the program would cover and the purpose of getting a large greenhouse gas savings. I reduced my house energy use from 129 Gigajoules per year down to 31. That was a really big reduction — like a 74% reduction in greenhouse gases. It’s a good incentive and a good thing to do for your home, better for the environment, and with the incentives you can actually save money in the long term.
